thadley 15 Posted May 17, 2007 Love the lines, the light and of couse, the capture. Good range of tones. When you have been so generous with me, it takes a bit of courage to point out things but here I go: I might be wrong because I can't tell where the sky ends, but if it was me, I would crop it at the top to minimize the amount of empty white space. An old photographer once told me if it does not "add" to the value of the photo , then subtract it. Have a good day and best regards. Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted May 17, 2007 Steve and Tony - thanks for your comments. Tony - I really appreciate it when you point things to me and do not hesitate to do so in the future. The reason why the sky is so "washed out" is because it was foggy. Typical San Francisco weather as usual. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 17, 2007 Beautiful tones here and those lines leading into the shot are a great touch. Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted May 17, 2007 i like the feeling of motion you have captured here. the slight blur in the FG tells us that you are right up front shooting this (and really good through the tram glass too). great curve flow. you could put a thin black line around the frame to seal off the white sky. good timing with the oncoming tram for position. well done.
