martin_cabo 0 Posted May 17, 2007 I really enjoyed your pic, Paul, and seeing the other plane aproaching at a high rate of speed is something that must have been nerve-retching. Thank your for delighting us. Link to comment
tj rohyans 0 Posted May 19, 2007 what might it look like in B/W? It has a feel of WWII dogfighting to me. 7/7! Link to comment
martinstott 0 Posted May 27, 2007 nice composite shot, the fact that you took the photo in the back of an aircraft whilst at 125% of bank is impressive. was the camera hand held or mounted, and what shutter speed did you use with what lens. as for the other aircraft, a very good bit of photoshop cloneing, is it the same aircraft that you are traveling in? shot earlier in the day. paul mccall 0 Posted May 27, 2007 Hi all and thanks for the comments. It was a hair raising ride and one I'll be doing again. I can tell you now that the pilot was not too keen on me having my camera with me for safety reasons and stressed that I must hold on to it tight. The shot was hand held ( f\5.6 @ 1\2oosec ISO 100, I don't know how many G's were on me but I remember my camera a 350d, battery grip and Sigma 15mm fisheye felt like it weighed a ton. I also remember making some strange noises to keep myself composed. Thanks again and I'm glad you all enjoyed the shot. I would reccommend one of these flights to anyone.
