jeffl7 0 Posted May 14, 2007 One of the first tasks of childhood is learning how to trust. Amazing how this struggle continues into adulthood. Comments/suggestions welcome. Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted September 30, 2007 This picture, to me, is the most touching in your portfolio, perhaps because I'm going through the same phase now with my son. We have spent so much time together in his first year that we have become inseperable. He cries so much when I have to leave that I used to be concerned until my wife told me that this is because he is learning to trust that you will come back. You put these words into pixels so well. Thanks. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted September 30, 2007 Thanks. I imagine this emotional connection between parent and child as a rubberband that stretches (sometimes a lot), but always returns. Link to comment
skyjammer 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Yes, this picture is designed to tug at the heartstrings, no doubt! I remember the first time my wife & I took my 2nd son, Ladi, to his first day at day care. He started crying as soon as we both started heading for the exit door. We ended up staying with him for a quarter of an hour before he got engaged with his care-giver and forgot about us, and then we sneaked off. Great image, and extremely evocative.
