Composite of Skyraider shot at Duxford and a 'better' skyscape -

perhaps a bit of a pretty picture but I like the Skyraider. Your

comments appreciated.

When I was a kid these ADs used to fly in and out of the Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach. They looked small compared to the Crusaders and Phantoms and such, but they are actually larger than they first appear.

 

By the time I was in the Navy, these had all been retired; replaced by the A6 Intruder or transferred to the South Vietnamese.
