The Road Less Traveled 02 (Garden of the Gods Park, Colorado Springs)

Another shot that represents a little bit of what's going on in my life right now. Of course, I've got Colorado on my mind. :-) But the idea of taking a new path ... possibly a less traveled path ... these are things I'm contemplating as well. Comments? (I mean comments on the life decisions or on the photograph ... both are welcome as usual!)

Nothing like having a conversation with myself on my own photo. LOL!! :-)

 

Anyway - when I was looking at the thumbnail, I realized that you can't see the road in the thumb ... but I find myself thinking about one of the things that I love about the mountains of the American West: the fact that you can really see what a valley truly is. It's difficult to teach that to students who have never really seen large mountains.

 

I think I need to go for a hike......

Lou Ann, how are you?, mice image , has to be seen large in order to see all the details, I like the road seen/unseen in the valley. Very ascetic landscape.

Beautiful. It's been many, many years since we visited here. Guess we'll have to put this on our itinerary as it will probably be our last road trip west. :-(
