I think the whole image is fair game for comment. From my point of view as the photographer, my model's breasts were indeed part of the picture, an important part. It would be a different picture if they were covered or cropped out. And, of course, in real life, being confronted with a naked woman is a quite different experience from chatting with a clothed one. On the other hand, the picture is certainly about more than breasts; otherwise it would be just one of the zillions of breast pictures posted like trophies here, and I wouldn't have bothered uploading it. (And just how do those images get high ratings for originality, anyway?) If someone notices what I consider my model's lovely expression, that's great; if they appreciate my model's physical attributes, well, that's perhaps a less "cultured" approach, but I suspect it's an honest one, and having put the opportunity out there, I can hardly profess shock that someone noticed.

Well, I would respectfully conclude in that case that you expressed yourself badly the first time around when you focused on her breasts, but then it was under my photo that you said that and not your own. Strange how differently one can think and say things then.

I believe there are a few lessons to be drawn from this exchange. For my part, I shall certainly retain "the more cultured view of matters" next time the subject comes around. It would be pleasant though to see it applied by others also to different people's work and not just their own.

Forgive me for being so candid, this must be not more than the second time in four years that I return an argument to it's source, particularly when it differs from what is said under one's own work, but I have now reached an age when I am tired of being preached to and turning the other cheek.

You've lost me. Do we have a disagreement (apart from the philosophical quibble about what is fair game for comment in a photo)? Have I been preaching? Have you been turning the other cheek? Enlighten me.
