prabhas roy 0 Posted April 27, 2007 This is a very good portrait Ed...but I feel if you have left a very little space on top then it could be much better...I like the skin tone the tungsten colour effect is really very nice (is it a very little out?)...Keep it up...Best wishes & regards.... Guest Guest Posted April 27, 2007 Ed: This has all the ingredients of a good picture but there are several problems. Why are the shutters there and why are they in focus? Is that the best placement of the hands? Why are there lights on both sides? Could a better angle for the model have been found? Link to comment

haus_marten 0 Posted April 28, 2007 Poorly focused, composed, color adjusted. Plus, she looks pissed. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted April 28, 2007 I have to go with Haus on this one. It's really not a soft focus, more out of focus. There is much that can be done with WB for a warm, pleasing effect. This way, it's just too yellow Link to comment
msr 0 Posted April 29, 2007 Interesting discussion here. I tend to agree with ones and anothers. I do think it's very difficult choice such a so close portrait to the model. I don't like the shutters at all, really, but I like that much skin, and I think the hands are all right. And the sheet are expecially good, leaving all the work for our imagination. I think you should have captured a different expression as Haus mentioned. I really like this type of girl. Beautiful hair. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted April 30, 2007 Boy, you really got a lot of information from people!! Must be nice. I tend to think this picture is okay, just reminds me of "Mrs. Robinson" alittle. Link to comment
ed_a 0 Posted April 30, 2007 I'd like to thank each of you for your comments. I did ask her to look upset in the photo. She did and some like it and some don't. I was not using the tripod as I probably should have. I did have other shots of this but I liked this one the best. Thanks again from the newbie. Link to comment
