apergament 0 Posted April 23, 2007 Hi Kevin. I like the basic idea of the photo as a silhouette in a weird context of a trumpet player here, but I'm not sure what to make of the photo. That is, there are a whole lot of elements with the tractor, the silhouette, the guitar, that sharp light on the wall, graffitti, chair, weeds, trees, etc... I think the amount of elements takes away from the simplicity implied in a silhouette (i.e. the lack of details in the main object). If you could do this picture again, consider keeping only a couple of the elements to show something. I think my favorite would be just the chair in the foreground silhouettted with the trumpeter silhouetted as he is now, without the other stuff (i.e. tractor, triangle light, etc...). If you could do that either physically or with photoshop, I think this could be an excellent photo. Alex. Link to comment
street photography karina 0 Posted April 25, 2007 I agree with Alex about the tractor. A pity it is there, because otherwise I think this is a very strong shot! Link to comment
