dberryhill 3 Posted April 22, 2007 John has been Danny's barber for years, and also cut his father and uncles' hair. There is a relationship here that transcends a simple haircut. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted April 22, 2007 Nice natural portrait of a scene we see everyday, but don't take the time to record. I'm sure the lighting was a challenge here, but you managed a nice print. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 50,257 Posted April 23, 2007 Yeah, that's a nice picture of the good old days, a MAN giving another man a haircut. Hope he had better luck than I did in Corydon. I'm still recovering from that one. He looks deep in thought here Doug. You made a nice picture. Link to comment
kellen1 0 Posted April 24, 2007 This is a a very powerful piece. I looked at it about 4x longer than I do most other work that I comment on, this has a lot of depth, a lot of life and a lot of soul. I like how you can see that the Barber's hand with the clipper in it is moving, there is an ever so slight blur. I like how there is a little flag in the background too. Link to comment
