I took this picture during religeous easter celebrations in the

center of Italy.

Great image Fabrizio. It sort of looks like the American Ku Klux Klan? I bet some people are afraid to comment on the image for that reason!

Why do they dress this way?

:) .... nothing to do with Ku Klux Klan, its a religeous ceremony to commemorate the dead of Jesus Christ before resurrection. An Italian ceremony in a little village of center Italy (Orte) near Rome.
