Jefferson Memorial at Sunrise

I arrived early on Monday to photograph the cherry blossoms, and

caught this shot waiting for the sun to rise.

I was there last weekend. It was mid day, harsh light. I like the ripple in the water. Did you drop a rock? If so, great idea. I'm not a big stickler on the rule of thirds, but I definitely think this shot could benefit from a crop on the top. There's really nothing interesting after the clouds, so I would crop about 20% off the top. This would also get rid of the vignetting in the corners.
