Rain(y)forest

This is a photo I planned to take after driving down that road several

times in the early morning to visit a customer. The location is close

to where I live at the outskirts of Hamburg, Germany. We had a quite a

long misty and rainy period here before spring really began and those

wet trees looked quite misterious.

I used a tripod and a plastic bag to protect the camera.

The original color jpg was converted to bw and the tones adjusted.

I used a bluish green tone to create some more debth and increase the

misterious feeling of the place.

This is a really hard shot to get right, i've got an awfull lot of photo's of roads going into the distance and none of them have it. The balance of light is just right and the streak of light between the trees is enough to draw you in to explore the picture. great job

Incredible color and light. Feels like standing in there and then again like some spooky road from that famous tv series. Nice work with software.
