shadow-island 0 Posted March 31, 2007 This is way to cute! Really neat how the nose of the second mouse is hiding behind the first. Like the blue cloth with the image. Well done... Link to comment

bartimeus1 0 Posted March 31, 2007 I mean that both, the images from this series of yours and these little rascals, they are worth of a lot of applauds! This is so cute portrait of them and also technically brilliant. With warm greetings, Alpo Link to comment

dave_dube 10 Posted April 3, 2007 Ellen, very well composed! I feel a little cheated regarding the DOF. For me, the eye and ears of the outer rat(?) need to be in focus.Well done, Dave Link to comment
James Kazan 17 Posted April 5, 2007 Ellen Oh want a cute capture. I think the sallow DOF works well here. It draws ones eyes to the pink nose and whiskers.Jim Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted April 6, 2007 Jim, I'm a little confused by your comment. All documentation and reviews/critiques and my personal taste indicate that eyes are the most important part of a photo with animals, birds, people etc.So, you think a nose is a better feature to promote? Link to comment
James Kazan 17 Posted April 8, 2007 Dave I must have missed reading those rules. I didn't know there were any? I guess I've been doing this wrong are these years :-) As for noses, mine is larger than most so "yes" I'm a big promoter of noses so to speak. BTW: Nice portfolio and Ellen thanks for letting us use some of your space.Jim Link to comment
