Starting the Show

This is my first submission. I just picked up a camera last week and

this is the first photo I've taken that seems at all interesting.

 

Any feedback is appreciated!

 

Camera was a Canon 350D with the stock lens.

Well done, the color and repetition are interesting, and well-observed. For me, the foreground pulls you back to the reality of looking at a plain old mixing desk, if there is such a thing. Perhaps a closer view would make it more of an abstract study?
