eugenio.demmenie 0 Posted August 18, 2004 Catching one of the first trains to Basel that day, I had just a few moments to take this photo. No body there at this early hour. The sculpture at the left, entitled l'Ange Protecteur ("Guardian Angel") was made by the late Niki de S.Phalle and installed to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Swiss Railways in 1997. eugenio.demmenie 0 Posted August 18, 2004 Hi, it was a Sunday indeed and rather early. As you know, the hall of the railway station is crowded with people coming and going. The shops and cafe's are open from about 7 o'clock, if I recall correctly. Ofcourse it is always possible to buy your train ticket, even at 6 AM. Link to comment
