Overall it is an outstanding image, the time shutter applied was very good giving dinamism to the image due to the speed of the clouds,I see the snow a little bit gray, therefore I would like to suggest you, adjust the medium tones a little bit 10% to show a little bit detail and convert the snow a little bit more white. What's your opinion? Thanks in advance and best regards.

I could probably go either way on it. The snow is intentionally underexposed here, to draw the eye upward through the scene. I think it might work best somewhere between your rework and this image.

I love the lines in the bottom corners that draw me into the scene and shoot me to the top. Does have a very dramatic, foreboding look, as if some formidable wizard was racing towards me. Way to create this mood.

You really had to previsualize this one. I wonder what you would have done if the vanishing point of the clouds not been directly behind the tree?

You are a greet photographer, but I do not understand, why do you creating grey snow, A very grey snow . . . . . . . . ?!! The image itself is fantastic, lucky you.

The grey is appropriate to the light levels at the time of capture, and by keeping it darker it keeps the eye looking up at the tree and sky above.

Marc, what an absolutelly fabulous portrait of a Bristelcone, surely one of the most stunning I have ever seen on this subject.

I have allready visited this photo a certain amount of times, and I must say the athmosphere that creates each time I open it is magic, I wont get tired in admiring the Tree God shapes and the backlit cloud movement!!.

The scene is so f*^*&% good, that you could work in many variants and play with it forever.
