A very fun, relaxed wedding. I'd love feedback on use of light and

composition.

I give you props for a creative approach to a bride's portrait. First of all, the composition is awesome, and completely unexpected. Afterall, most brides expect the world to revolve around them, that they are the center of the universe. Here the bride, relaxed and very happy, is content to be part of a larger picture. (A very interesting editorial comment on your part).

Now the negative: The colors have no punch, and are too washed out. The sky has no punch; the blue should be deeper so that the clouds pop. And her skin tone is not quite right; has a yellow/gray palor that is a little unattractive.

Have you tried converting it to B&W to see what it would do?

Anyway, a very enjoyable image; I think that you are on the right path here.
