danita_armant 0 Posted March 18, 2007 just in time for St. Pat's day. How clever you can "see" what you're drinking. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 18, 2007 Very cool idea Jamie, and very well orchestrated. Exposure, lighting... and most importantly... composition... all come together in this one. Nice! The plastic holder is a very nice detail, not to mention... the title's perfect! Angela Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 18, 2007 Yes Jamie. I nearly passed this one by, not because it is not creative and fun but because the thumbnail isn't as dramatic as some of your other images. I wonder how long it took you to get this shot. Great fun as always. Link to comment

dennis jones 0 Posted April 10, 2007 In print, I bet this will knock your socks off. The yellows and the glass work well together. Even on the web, I can make the edges of the glass areas... Nice work..... And great title Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 10, 2007 Very nice work, Jamie. Do you have shots of your set-up? Link to comment
jnicholson 0 Posted April 10, 2007 Hey, thanks for all the nice comments. I had a great time with this shot. Kim, I don't have shots of the setup. I was so flustered trying to get the light bulbs filled with beer standing with the least amount of hot glue that I just completely forgot to take my usual setup pictures. I hate it when I forget because I like to keep them as records for future reference. In lieu of the pictures though I can tell you that it's set up on white seamless paper and I used three Speedlites and a lot of foam board to light it. There's a flash on each side pointing upward into foam board and one overhead facing the background. The fact that much of the light is coming from above, I think, is why the "bottle" caps are a little hotter than I'd like. All the best. Link to comment
matthew_mcardle 0 Posted March 5, 2008 Great idea and composition. How did you get the light bulbs open to pour the beer in them? Link to comment
