mvisionphotography 1 Posted March 18, 2007 This is a perfect picture for St Patricks Day :) ~ i love the spring look to this and the almost perfect flower/bushes on all sides! EVEn the clouds are almost equal. Only thing missing is a tree on the left like you made this a mirror image. ~ micki Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted March 19, 2007 What a wonderful treat to the eyes! My eyes follow the lines right through the gateway. This is GREAT! Thanks for such a wonderful comment regarding my work!!!!!!!!!! deb Link to comment
michael comerford 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Nicely executed. You've caught some lovely rich colours here. One editing option you might consider is to crop lower to the horizon, just above the trees to the right. This will remove a lot of the brightness of the sky and bring the colours out even further. It would also emphasise the grandeur of the scene by making it seem wider.Well done !MC. Link to comment
lynne ross 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Yes Michael, I agree - cropping of the sky makes a big difference to the photo. I looked back at my photo of Rows of Tulips and that only had a small amount of sky. I have cropped the sky as you suggested and it is much more effective - emphasis on width and the lovely lush colours. Thanks very much for your interest and assistance. Lynne Link to comment

bartimeus1 0 Posted March 24, 2007 I like this version a lot! The colors complement the composition just perfectly. The escape-point is inside of the gate and at the same time there are two more, on the both sides of the hills. I a way, this leads my view into the alley of the bushes and through the gate. Then it let`s the imagination run wild and rush over the hills and far away. :-) I like that feeling in this photo! With warm greetings, Alpo Link to comment

mnigro 0 Posted October 8, 2007 You have a good eye but many of your images are flat, this because you are shooting at mid-day. Try early morning and early evening when light rays are longer. You'll see a world of difference. Link to comment
lynne ross 0 Posted October 9, 2007 Thank you for your helpful comments Michael. Will try that out. You are right - I do shoot a lot of my photos around midday. Cheers, Lynne Link to comment
