skooter 0 Posted May 5, 2002 A misty overcast day, with not much light to spare. I selected DOF to ensure that the frontmost flower was sharp, as well as the one on top that's closed. This left the two background flowers slightly out of focus. I like this, but I'm interested in other's thoughts. Less DOF? More? Why? Link to comment
karel_appel 0 Posted May 5, 2002 Depth of field is ok. The front flower is too small. Try enlarging it. Link to comment
craig_bridge 0 Posted May 5, 2002 DOF is fine, but a crop with some color balance and curve adjustments might help. Attached is a quick PhotoShop to illustrate some ways to get the in focus flower to stand out a bit more. Link to comment
craig l 0 Posted May 9, 2002 I like the cropped version much better; I found the blossoms along the top edge of the original rather distracting. DOF looks good to me. Link to comment
