dennis jones 0 Posted March 17, 2007 This is the first Green Jay I've seen. Nice... How far from the Rio Grande was this? Good color and capture. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 17, 2007 Great, Kim! I think this is one of your best. By the way, how do you like that big Sigma? It looks awesome from this result. Are your biceps growing yet? --Lannie Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 17, 2007 This is a Greenjay; picture taken in Orange Grove, about 40 miles from Corpus Christi, TX. We have greenjays in our yard, but we are in a wildlife photo contest, so can only take shots on this ranch for the contest. Luckily, they have even more birds than we do at home, so it's working out well. I LOVE the Sigma; I prefer it over the Nikon 80-400 VR!!! Definitely can't handhold it - it weighs around 4 lbs, I think. I use a monopod. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted March 18, 2007 From the thumbnail, I thought this guy was wearing sunglasses. What is he, anyway? Nice, sharp shot. Link to comment
