David's comment is spot on. Your positioning of the buds has created good depth. There's a sort of graininess to this shot that adds a cool texture. Do you remember what ISO you were using?

 

Watch those eardrums. You're gonna need 'em for a while still:)

Thanks for the critique Jamie! It was only ISO 50--I try and only use that level of ISO with my camera, or else the noise gets way out of control. A new camera is long overdue, but not possible at the time being.
