jeff.grant 0 Posted March 8, 2007 Henri, what a lovely study of a simple scene. Is that polariser vignette in the top right? Link to comment

carsten_ranke 0 Posted March 17, 2007 Very nice motif, well composed. Beautiful colors and contrast. The vignette distracts a bit, why not remove it with PS ? Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted March 18, 2007 Thank you Carsten. I have probably tried to remove the vignette but I don't know a good method to do that. Whatever the way I do, the result is never very conclusive. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted March 18, 2007 my workflow is: duplicate layer, then add an adjustment layer for brightness/ contrast on top. A good start is 50%/ 20%. Then invert the adjustment layer, use the gradient tool with white, start drawing in the corner towards the center, as appropriate, to neutralize the dark hues in the corner. Then you can fine tune the effect with brightness/ contrast change of the adjustment layer, and possibly with opacity of the layer. At last, flatten. You can do this separately with each corner, or simultaneously when vignetting is symmetric. Link to comment
