Ottimo lavoro e composizione. Anch'io ho fotografato l'eclisse, ma non essendo riuscito a scattare foto belle come le tue, ho messo la luna in secondo piano (se vuoi dai un'occhiata alla mia ultima foto caricata).

A very nice presentation of this event, well done.

I've seen many presentations of our recent eclipse. This is by far the best I've seen. I'd print it large and hang it on the wall!

I agree with the comment of Jana... !! :)) If there's a picture that deserves 7/7 is this. I would like to ask the people that rated 3/3 (expecially 3 in originality) how many time he was used to take pictures of a lunar eclipse!!! This is a bitter comment to people not so objective to rate photos.

mate, you've absolutely nailed it with this shot. never have i seen such a beautiful shot in the astrophotography section.

How did you take individual pictures, Tommaso? -- what lens and exposure did you use? -- worked real well!

I'd like to thanks everyone for your lovely comments, so much appreciated!

I used a tripod and the nikon 70-300mm +D80, shoted ISO 100, F8, 1/80-250sec depend on the available light. I shoted the sequence from my home in South England, I was lucky there were no clouds during all the eclipse that lasted 2 hours. No filters or teleconverter used, I composed the images following the real movement of the moon using photoshop.
