This is very well exposed photograph of very great composition, perspective and sharpness, I also like the contrast here and the tone

The compressed tonal range works well with this subject, but (and I know there was probably little you could do about it) the plants in the bed hanging over the wall take away from the shot. There is also an area at the top left that doesn't work well, but the rest of the image is strong enough to prevent it from being a problem. Nice work.

Randall, have to agree with you on that, pitty about the plants hanging over the edge and the small bit at the top left. I remember thinking when I took the shot that if only I could get rid of those plants, but I came to the conclusion that I didn't think the Hilton Hotel would like me yanking their plants out...lol. Oh well, I'm still happy with the shot, on black and white paper it looks great as the silver in the paper really shines out. Thanks for the comments everyone.

I had already tried crops and some cloning, as I found the shot so interesting. Finally came to the conclusion that the design was strong enough to overcome the same things Randall mentioned. Anyway, here's one that tries to address the things that we both noticed, at first glance. The cloning's not the best, as I'm still learning.

Hay Doug,

Thanks for your efforts, I might try to do something similiar to the original high res image when I get a chance on Photoshop and see if I can clone some tiles into the area at the top left so as to not crop the image further. When I finish the image I'll put it in my folio for comments and will see which is better. Thanks again for your efforts on your example!
