lalit 0 Posted March 2, 2007 I found this on the side of the road between redwoods and the beach. While it was midday and was partially overcast I decided to capturethe beauty though very small, but more intricate than the grandlandscapes we always admire more and strive to capture. I took various compositions (another one in the same folder of thispicture) waited for the clouds to flatten the light little bit andthe sea breeze to slow down and triggered the remote when they cooperated. This composition was a little tricky to adjust the tripod, especiallywhen the two tripod legs stand on the slopes and the third in agully, while trying to hold steady the heavy 180mm macro lens. Here Iused two leaves in the foreground to create this bright green half, while in the top half the bright flower coming in. The top backgroundis formed by the rocks on the slopes. If you notice the area betweenthe flower and the green leaves is of the same shape as the flower. Link to comment
