There is something magic to this picture... I looked at it and had a "old" feeling. With the light like one of this flashbacks you get into movies about old outdoor memories. Then, I open the detail section and discover that that's exactly what it is all about.

One of my oldest surviving color photos - I was 16. The original was

photographed on Kodachrome (some small ASA (ISO) number like 10).

The original is no longer restorable but I had Ektachrome copies made in

the early 70s and this is a digital photograph of one copy that was never

put in a projector. The fact that a cheap Argus C-3 camera made it has

given me the nostalgic habit of at least once a year taking out a cheap

camera and seeing what I can do. The Argus had a bad habit of vignetting

images but here I think it worked.

I like the story and the effort to save an old image. Well done. 

This one is special, due to the atmosphere as well as the story.

You have used the elements to your advantage and created this magical scene. I like this very much; well done!
