doctorbabaguy 0 Posted March 17, 2007 I think it is a very unusual angle, with a terrific confluence of interesting geometry, tonal values and subject matter. Two aspects are striking to my eyes: the weighing balance is perfectly framed and the corss-legged woman's face is turned along the corner absolutely perfectly. Very nice tonal values too. What bothers me is that the frame is somewhat claustrophobic...to tight IMO--just a personal preference. It think it is heightened by the high angle of view. Suppose you had stooped a bit lower to catch her at ~45^o angle off the vertical rather than the current ~30^o angle, it would open up a bit more space behind her to make room for the eye to float...just my opinion.
