Laurent, you always manage to get such phenomenal contrast in your images. I love the lines, the sharpness and the story it tells! Wonderful, wonderful as usual!

Great shot. Your photography is so good, so unexpected in its composition and your technique so excellent, I really feel I'm miles behind you. The red has the most amazing effect.

I love the cropping you did here Laurent! The red on the gray, the triangle of legs framing the landscape! very skilled observation!

I bet the 6 yr old can ski better than me...my perspective is usually the same as yours in this image, from the ground! Congrats on a great shot....LJ

Sherry, contrast and colors is a free by-product of bad weather photography...that's why I like so much to shoot while it's raining or just after in cloudy weather like here.

Jack, you make me laugh (positively) with your sentence about my skills since I visit you regularly for inspiration...hopefully and healthily you had some more critical views on other shots...thanks for that also...

Amal, well it's always a pleasure and a treasure to travel with your pictures...

Pnina, thanks for precise and focussed comments, always deeply appreciated...

Alex, well since I am a pure amateur and always will be, I take no risk breaking rule other than make people laugh for bad or good reasons and that's something I like do...I appreciate what you do for the very same reason...play, have fun, and try things...

David, thanks again and again...well I appreciate so much our exchange. As I told you I am not only here in PN to see good photos, but interact with people in fruitful exchange is one of my primary interest...

Lesa, thanks, yes I was lying on the floor for this shot...but as you might know ski is the national sport here in Switzerland and kids practice at school...I was raised with ski season in mind and do the same for my kids...

A very nice shot, Laurent. You're very lucky to live in Switzerland. I love skiing myself. This pic reminds me of last year's ski season. My kids were given their first lessons and that's what I saw the whole week. It was great fun and pleasure teaching them their first lessons and taking them on the slopes. This pic perfectly conveys this atmosphere of joy and fun. Congrats!

P.S. How was the snow? It looks good on the photo.

I just saw your comment right as you made it...this shot was taken tuesday last week and it snowed heavily just the night before so it was very good that day...but then it rained and was very sunny the days after... when we left the snow level was very low and snow quality was down...I hope it will snow again because it is needed for the rest of the season...thanks for your comment, I am glad you like it...

Thanks for your nice comment. This is a personal fav. of your work... Its so different from anything I have ever seen before. I believe we have similiar hobbies and style of photography. Except you seem a little more inclined than me and thats awesome, my picture was taken while visiting athens, greece. It was downtown and they had this wedding car for rent and the colors on it were beautiful....i was trying to find a way around the 30 people taking pictures and looking at it and tried to figure out a way to get all those people not in the shot. Finally found a way. Keep up with your great work Im def. going to add you as interesting...and i cant wait to see more of your work.
