I am at sea about the composition of this picture now.

Any comments will be appreciated.

This is a great shot, looks like everything is tilted helter skelter, the tonality is nice, and I even like the movement in the water and the ropes. What an interesting place!

This is a beautiful shot, really well done. The big rock on the left is a bit distracing, but not too much. Great job.

Dramatic. The movement of the water seems to defy the sharpness of the rest of the photo especially the fabric of the stilted structure. This shot really wants a long look.

Beautiful tonality and crispness overall.

The stilted structure and its ropes pull

the eye. This is a pleasure to look at.

I'd crop the bottom up to the rope.

Definately do NOT crop up to the rope. The compostion is perfect as-is. You need that swath of water on the bottom to balance the picture. It also adds scale.

I would love to see a human figure in it too, but it doesn't stop it being a brilliant photograph. Well done. John

yeh i think to see what kind of person uses this contraption would be real interesting to see. still a really great photo as it is.

This is a good photo but first of all it's a great print. Very well done with the darkroom!

 

The clouds really do it for me, especially the straight bottom edge.

Just a little darker and mostly burning in the sky atad, and this is worthy of a POW imo. Regards.

Just needs Christopher Walken and some rats.
