Great shot.

By focusing in on this one section, you do a great job emphesising the pattern in the metalwork...something a total view of the monument wouldn't do. Also, I really like the contrast of the light and dark areas.

Section shots are some of the best. It leaves a lot to ones imagination.

I don't think it's a simple shot.

Looks like, but isn't.

Very nice shot of a subject that gets pictured millions of times per year. Add a small black border to your image and it will be perfect.

Regarding to R.J., I post here a new version with the small black border. It effectively adds some sort of "pro" feeling.

I was wondering myself how to photograph the Eiffel Tower in an original fashion, great idea.

Maybe the best Eiffel shot on photo.net... composition could have been better, but the black bordered version is still great.
