Mexican Sunset

layne_harris

For those who say Photoshop is involved I say...You are correct! :)This is a composite image of the same scene at different shutter speeds. One is at 1/500 and one is at 1/4. The result was 2 shots, one with a great sunset, but dark foreground, the other a washed out sunset with a nice foreground. I merged the 2 and dodged and burned a little and this was the end result. Thanks everybody for your kind (and very observant) comments!

Layne, this photo is beyond belief. What a picture! I'll shut up. The picture speaks for itself.

I love this photo. It makes me think of 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' for some reason. Impressionistic, yet vivid. Very well composed.

The lighting just strikes me as totally unnatural. I'm not sure what it is. Is this photo a photoshop special?

This photo looks just like a painting at a museum. I hope that I can be as talented in Photoshop as you someday. Absolutely outstanding!

Hi Layne,

I might want to purchase this photo. What sizes are available and at what prices? I tried to email you, but your spam filter bounced it back. lisarhode@gmail.com
