What They Carried in Their Boots

Mr. Stovall:

This is very interesting as I am a history major with particular interest in the War Between the States. However, I never even thought about what the soldiers carried in their boots.

I am editor of The Stovall Journal, a 40-page quarterly magazine published by The Stovall Family Association, Inc. I would like to run some of your pictures on occasion, if that is possible. I would also like to run your genealogy back to the immigrant, Bartholomew Stovall and his second wife, Anne Burton, if you know it alongside any pictures.
