lkarnes 0 Posted February 11, 2007 Beautiful shot. I love the smooth tonality and the 2/3 to 1/3 symetric composition. It might have been even more interesting to include a few people in the center foreground. Would you share more about your technique? Thanks. Link to comment
lwhistler 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Very nice, I think that's one of Berlins subway stations. Looks like a High Dynamic Range image and I would like to know the software you used to create this image. Also how do you find peoples reaction when you are photographing in subway stations? I am photographing Vancouver's subway sations and I find that security and passangers don't like it when you have a camera setup on a tripod. Link to comment
ralfmr 0 Posted February 16, 2007 Yes, it is a kind of HDR technique. I use 3 exposures per frame. Nobody did complain at the station. I used as a fix point a handrail. No tripod was used. The whole procedure took about 3 seconds with the auto backeting function of the camera. Best regards, Ralf Link to comment
BobSandford 0 Posted February 19, 2007 the way you cropped and framed along with the wide angle distortion creates an interesting effect. the tonal range is also quite nice. Link to comment
