sbrisco 0 Posted February 11, 2007 I would have liked this better without the star filter on the light, otherwise execlent shot. If this was not a star filter please excuse my comment. Link to comment

mu zhen 0 Posted February 11, 2007 Hi,Steve.Thank you comment. This star burn effect is some really look too dazzling. It is under Sony R1 small aperture (such as F10), a naturally-formed shooting low light scenes. I think after shooting similar scene. Perhaps the larger aperture should be used to avoid this situation. Best regards,Mu Link to comment
dan_shoe 0 Posted February 11, 2007 this is a great photo of a beautiful place. I hope it is not where it will get flooded out by the 3 Georges Dam. Link to comment

skip hansen 0 Posted February 11, 2007 Great image. The star flare is just fine for this. It adds to the ethereal quality. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted February 11, 2007 I like this version where the boat and fisherman are closer to the camera and therefore do not interstect with the background reflectons. What a beautiful part of the world, and you've captured it so well. Link to comment

kristina_galvan 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Very nice. The reflections in the water are perfectly mirrored and undisturbed. Absolutely breathtaking. Link to comment

geof finch 0 Posted February 13, 2007 A really beautiful image. I think the star burst can either be left in or taken out - it doesn't really matter. Personally I would take it out because it just grabs my attention for a little bit too long and creates an 'unatural' feel to the image. On the other hand it makes it a rather interesting effect, especially the way it lights the end of the boat / canoe ? So, it depends on the effect that you (as an artist) are trying to present to me (the viewer). I like the overall colour and I love the mood. Link to comment
