Church by the Lake

The story is that when TVA built a dam near here, the church was saved

thanks to the intervention of Eleanor Roosevelt.

What a shot!!!!! I think you snapped it just absolutely in the right position. I love the mountains in the background and the sole tree off to the right that actually gives it character with the trace of the other tree behind the church. Great sky by the way. Awesome!!!!!!!!

Thank you Janie. It is a pretty place, so the picture was easy to take. It is not far from my home, so I sort of know when the light will be good.

The texture of the bricks on the church is what captured me. I'd like to see it much larger.

I really like this one, Doug. Feeling of peace. The only thing I would have done is crop the bottom and the left side just a bit. Just my thoughts.

Doug,I remember that church. You captured the scene with a real nice feel to it. Really comes across with a thick atmoshere. The tree on the right balances the image . Nice work. My space bar isstuck.
