eddiem 0 Posted April 21, 2002 You did a great job with the timing. It looks though, like either you were a little off on the focus or you need a faster shutter speed. This would really pop if his eyes were tack sharp. Link to comment
joey 0 Posted April 21, 2002 I like it. The centered composition is a little distracting, but you captured the moment well. You should post smaller pictures, this one is hard to view, and somebody could take it and sell a digital print. Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted April 21, 2002 Good action. Trees in the background are distracting. Also, this type of picture will look best when the wakeboarder is traveling into the sunlight. That way you get much better detail in colors and in the important facial expressions. Watch your backgrounds and try to zoom in even closer on some shots and keep using those fast shutter speeds. brian l. schiele 0 Posted April 22, 2002 I agree. The trees are very distracting. It would have been better if there was some detail, rather than it being so flat. It is not too sharp either. Keep shooting! Link to comment
qld 0 Posted May 18, 2002 Little bit out of focus, maybe the camera shake...Otherwise is good shot. Link to comment
mike_sea 0 Posted May 20, 2002 Nice action shot despite the problem with exposure. I would like to have seen more context. It seems to me to be a cable water skiier however I live close to a pable ski park. I wonnder if there was a way for you to frame the shot with more context, maybe this isn't the case. If this is so, I would suggest you frame it with another(s) photos that tells the viewer more about the whole thing. Mike Sea Link to comment
ptn4egl 0 Posted May 29, 2002 How far above the water is he? I think I'd like to see this as a vert, with the water below him. Also, he seems to be in the center a little to much for me. Where's the environment? If you're going to just have the athlete in the image, then make the image of the athlete, there's too much dead space here. Nice moment capture though Link to comment
