vancouverphotographer 1 Posted January 30, 2007 Hey Peter, thanks ... of course all the work was done by the person holding the birdseed :) Link to comment
armpro 0 Posted February 1, 2007 Great action photo! You know the old proverb: "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." Chickadees are not usually so trusting. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 2, 2007 Hey Tommy, thanks. I think these little guys are so used to being fed - but yeah, at some other places I been to, they are not so trusting. Link to comment
jeverz 0 Posted April 24, 2007 This is so beautiful! (Thanks for your comment, to answer your question; I use for the ladybugs most of the times my canon60mm macro-lens. But i had a sigma 50mm macro which i dropped and it broke. I was always happy with my sigma 50mm. Just wanted to try out the canon now. I also have a 150mm, which is more for butterflies etc. You can also choose the tamron 90mm macro, i have read some good reviews about that lens. You can read a lot on internet, i would advice that before buying one. Succes!) Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted April 24, 2007 Thanks Ellen. I actually am shooting with my Canon 100mm f2.8 macro but was just wondering what kind of aperture you typically use on your bug shots. When I got home and looked at mine, I wasn't getting the sharpness I wanted and figured maybe shooting wide open was not a good idea but wasn't sure if that was the only factor. Link to comment
