Walter, cropping the sky was a good move as it would be distracting. The autumn colors and exposure are fantastic. I know about those slippery rocks as I have gone down at least once trying to get the shot of my dreams. Sondra

I think what I like most about this photo is the gradual change of lighting, from the dark mossy bolder your eye travels past the tree and up the stream into the light. The perspective you used is unusual and very effective. Wonderful shot!
