Old shoe maker in the southern streets of Tehran

I took this photo in a rush because I was in an extremely poor

neighborhood and to be honest it was not too safe to have the camera

out. But I had to take this shot and it turned out to be my faviorate

photo.

Wonderful ! Having included his "workspace" and not having used a flash but just the existing light creates a wonderful sad atmosphere. (black eyes ,no light spot in them).

His beard looks great! So white. And you have caught his hands just at the right moment, they look interesting, like they are trying to tell you something.

This picture says a lot about the man. You really captured how he was feeling. I like the light too.
