nichols 0 Posted January 27, 2007 This is an older photo that I rescanned with the Nikon Coolscan V ED. I don't think I ever posted it. When it originally came back from the lab it was so overexposed, I just ignored it. I do like it now. Some of it probably isn't great, and it is another boring pet portrait, but there's something about it I kinda like. So, I thought I'd share. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 28, 2007 It's worth posting - the eyes are quite striking. Very cute kitty - do you still have him/her? Link to comment
nichols 0 Posted January 29, 2007 Kim. Thanks. This little guy was a next door neighbors kitty who wondered in our yard. I think this was taken about 2 or 3 years ago....so he's probably all grown up now. When they hopped the fence, I just happened to have my camera. It was a fun day:) Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted February 17, 2007 Not sure how it look overexposed, but you've fixed it well. The contrast here is wonderful, dof is right on, plus...the kitty is really cute! Very good shot. My only suggestion would be to crop a little bit from the left...not too much, because he needs some room to look into, but maybe halfway to the jagged fence piece. Just a thought...It would lessen the distraction from the leafy plant in the background and still leave enough of it to give it context. Does that make any sense? Just a thought.
