cherlyn 1 Posted January 24, 2007 Dabbling in some street shots lately which I seldom do. This was taken along an old town during a walking tour in Hanoi. Not as sharp as I would like it to be as it was taken in a rush. Thanks for viewing & feedback. http://c21.statcounter.com/counter.php?sc_project=2218794&java=0&security=f36e356e&invisible=1 Link to comment

janisok 0 Posted January 24, 2007 Hey Cherlyn!I like it!Very powerful image. You said that you do not do street shots often...just wondering...did she mind you taking her picture? Did she know? I want to take shots of people all the time but feel they will yell and scream! Did she? Great shot! Janis Link to comment

street photography karina 0 Posted January 25, 2007 A beautiful street moment. I like the closeness. Technically a bit over-sharped maybe. The b&w conversion is very good. Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted January 25, 2007 Very good capture,Cherlyn. It appears you shot this image from a low angle? Is she holding a hand fan? Choice of tone is good. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted January 25, 2007 Yes Amal, she is holding a fan, fanning herself on this hot day. Actually I this shot was taken at level height, if I remember correctly. Thanks everyone for your encouraging feedback. Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted January 25, 2007 great choice to go b/w on this as it gives the photo a timeless effect. the little bit of motion blur in the fan conveys the title well. nicely done. J.K. Link to comment
