my dream car is EXACTLY *THIS* car on the link below. For me there will be no other car than this except from the one and only piece of the 1000hp legendary Ferrari Testarosa Lotec Testa D'oro.

To my knowledge only one of the new GT40 is in the Gulf-colors (I could be wrong though) and this car is in Finland owned by the guy who runs American Parts Oy. The car was at Le Mans Classic last summer leading the parade.

Personally I prefer the original GT40 which is smaller and a bit rounder compared to the new oversized edition. The most legendary real GT40 (that is, original) - and in Gulf-colors, is the chassis number 1075 which won Le Mans 24 both in 1968 and 1969. The latter race is the legendary last lap decision, probably the most romatisized race of all times.

Above you will see the real thing, shot at 2000 Le Mans 24.

My dream car - either 1972/73 Prsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS in white and red or a new GT3 Club Sport in white and blue. The early Alfa 33 would be nice too.

Yep - the GT40. Proof that if you put 16 cars on the starting line, you have a good chance one of them wins:)

I do like the new GT, though - I am glad Ford had the balls to make it!

My dream car? Its hard - 1973 911RS is the first that comes to mind. Then there is a list of other real 911's about a page long. But, then you have the rally cars... Maybe an Integrale...? Or a Stratos? I couldn't just have one... :)

I think if the tyre wasn't exposed in the bottom right of the corner it would almost be like a predator in the shadows waiting to strike.

Still an excellent photo showing the character of the low profile car and I do like the way the light has created the excellent spread of colour on the red of the nose.

My favourite cars are the red ladies of the prancing horse:
