aepelbacher 0 Posted January 19, 2007 In honor of the fact that I'm going to be spending this coming January weekend in Buffalo, NY I have decided to upload three shots from Virginia Beach this summer when I hung out with Regina Chayer and her son, taking photos all over the Hampton Roads area. It was hot and sunny and gorgeous. We had a great time taking photos together and walking the beaches and the waterfront areas. There were lots of colorful displays at the shops. A couple of questions about this shot. Why do I feel funny about the color. I've tried to tweak it. Couldn't find anything that I really liked. What do you think? Secondly, does the little string & bell in the upper left bother you? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Great color and form, Lou Ann. Makes for an interesting abstract! If you cropped the left side, it would get rid of the sticks and that bit of string at the top, making it even more abstract. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Thanks to both of you. You had comments on the shot before I clicked back from the critique request. How about this square crop? Link to comment
chris hayes 0 Posted January 19, 2007 An everyday scene portrayed as a sweet toothed fantasy. Excellent shot !!! Link to comment
Jebamony 3 Posted January 19, 2007 Very colourful. I like the original crop. Candy is always good, take a look at my early attempt. Link to comment
