debbie kromer 0 Posted February 15, 2007 I am extremely raw at this, so any advice will be greatly appreciated. I only took a pic. of her head as she is a feather plucker and the rest of her is so ugly! Link to comment
snorkler 0 Posted February 15, 2007 The image could be sharper, particularly in the eye. It also appears this bird has engaged in self mutilation...what a shame. It's very detracting from a wildlife shot when the creature is not in good shape. I suggest cropping the damaged area. Link to comment
debbie kromer 0 Posted February 15, 2007 I see what you mean about the eye, but how would I crop this? Her baldness is below the chest. As for her history: I took her from an abusive home over 16 yrs. ago. The vet said once a plucker always a plucker. She has about 50% more feathers then when we got her. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. Link to comment
snorkler 0 Posted February 18, 2007 Maybe you could do just a head shot and get in real close on the face which still looks nice! Link to comment
