Riverside Park Light House :: Hasselblad 500CM ::

I shot this on Riverside Park with a red filter and a Hasselblad CM

(Planar 80 mm) and then scanned it with the Epson 4490, 2400 dpi at

8 bits. The composition is nothing special and I would love to hear

some of your comments on how to improve it. Thanks!

The first thing I would ask you to do is look at it yourself and ask, "What don't I like about this?"

My answer would be that the bridge in the top left corner doesn't seem to be part of this image and spoils the whole effect. The way the trees are at the other side of the river give the illusion that the horizon is not horizontal. I am happy to believe it is but it just doesn't look that way!

The horizon is off! (About 2.2 degrees)
