bradford 0 Posted January 14, 2007 Great elements in this shot- light, background/sky and reflection of poles. Also great tonal range with the light in the center and the shadows and clouds. I'm wondering if that's a strobe coming in from the left hitting the front railings? Looks sweet. Link to comment
mikestacey 0 Posted January 14, 2007 Great sea pool shot Paul. I've even done a few myself of late. This stands out due to the compisition of all the railings which are well organised and don't (in my opinion) interfere with each other. Exposure is also good and the overall illumination is a treat. Is this Coogee? Link to comment
paul pinkley 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Thanks Mike, the lighting changed pretty quickly this morning and didn't leave much room. No, this is Coogee though ;-) http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4925791 Very fortunate in Sydney, plenty of pools about....this is Bilgola Link to comment
leighperry 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Nice composition Paul. There's a nice formality of structure to the elements, and the steely sheen makes it all glow beautifully. Link to comment
mrdavson 0 Posted January 20, 2007 This is right up there with all your work, Paul. Love it! Link to comment
richard van hoesel 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Yes, the lines in this work a treat Paul. Very nicely seen. The sky looks a bit muddy, but it might just be the monitor I'm seeing this on. Link to comment
