I'd really apprciate your comments on the colour of this image, I'm

looking for a desaturated, sepia tone but still wanting depth and

'roundness' rather than a flat sepia. What do you think? Thanks for

your time.

I think the colors are very nice. You did a great job mixing it up in Photoshop. The green is just right for this near B/W photo. I'm sure the purple flowers over his shoulder were brilliant fully saturated, but they would have been a real distraction then. I think you made a good choice in the adjustments.

Natural-looking poses but I think a shalllower depth of field would have been appropriate.....I shouldn't think the couple would be too interested in the detail on the steps in the background?!

I really like this image, but i'm a bit confused...I'm not seeing any sepia in this photo? I hope you dont mind but I played around with it in Photoshop CS 2 and this is what I came out with (see photo attached)

I really like the photo itself, and the desaturated effect. Almost sepia but not quite there. Almost looks spot colored but then on closer look, color everywhere. Really a very interesting look after seeing a lot of sepia and spot colored images out there.

yeah, I had thought of it as a compromise since i hate spot colour but still get asked for it. I agree, it's not completely sepia, just sepia-ish! I suppose it's more of a brownish tone across the whole image. Anyway descriptions aside, I really appreciate your feedback. Point taken about the DOF!
