paulstenquist 4 Posted January 15, 2007 On I-94 in Detroit. A valiant effort. Not sure if it works. A lot going on there. Link to comment
cbjetboy 0 Posted January 15, 2007 This was shot on the Fred Hartman Bridge between Baytown and La Porte Texas while they were doing maintenance. There were a few barricades so I ducked in and got the shot. Normally this bridge is very heavy with traffic. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 15, 2007 The set up is good and you used the given situation well. Thus, you've earned hi originality ratings. For car photography, the reflections on the Vette are quite nervous. A few years ago GM had the Vettes blue in Le Mans and they were very difficult to shoot because they were very dark and didn't reveal the shape well. Your car paint is most likely "Le Mans blue", but the "original LM blue" was darker and less glossy. I wonder how this photo would have worked out in the evening or early in the morning - during the blue hour. The reflections are always the most difficult part of car photography. Link to comment
cbjetboy 0 Posted January 15, 2007 It is in fact LeMans Blue. This was a once in a blue moon opportunity. I have looked to repeat it at a different time since but alas no barricades! Link to comment
uriah 0 Posted March 11, 2007 Love the vette shots. If I owned one my entire port would be of my car...lol. My only nitpick would be to pull the car a few feet more forward so the two little tops of the bridge in the back aren't coming out of the top of the car. I see you are already pretty close to the ground with your camera and can't get a couple inches lower. The two huge ones are great! Other than that great idea for a shot! Thanks for sharing!
