Canada's Mount Assiniboine and sunset clouds reflected in a small

pond, complimented by golden Larch trees and wetlands. What a

beautiful scene!

This is another pleasing scene. Water has been one of the most common element in your pictures, I noticed. The sidelit peaks and clouds are beautiful. The colors of the sky and the reflection are beautiful too. Only thing that I did not like about this image was: vignetting, which was narrowing my eye to focus at the middle of the scene than to move over entire scene, something that usually I do not prefer if the image is not emphasizing on only one object. But it is just my opinion, others could disagree. I thought this image could use un-vignetting little bit.

Looks like your picture "Winter temple" is essentially the same mountain range?

Marc,

I was referred to your work by a fellow photog and I sit stunned. Your body of work is truly beyond compare, and I know you have heard this so I won't gush. As one who loves the mirror, this is my fave. It is everything a mirror image is supposed to be and I thank you.

First of all, this is a gorgeous photo. The quality of light on the mountains and clouds, and the calmness of the water, is dramatic. One thing that immediately catches my eye, however, is that the intensity of the reflection appears as bright as its source. I have not noticed such a phenomenon in photos or in nature previously.

Jay, the reflection is completely unaltered in any way. The water was exceptionally still and clear, and a graduated fitler was used to bring up the exposure a bit.

Marc,

the clouds and reflection rocks.  No more to say, you had a good chance catching this light.  The reflection is brighter than original, but....  I'd rate it 7/7.

Daniel.
